Volunteers Harassed for provide services Quitting CCP

Posted by Author on August 31, 2006

By Xin Fei, The Epoch Times, Aug 29, 2006–quit ccp center

Recently the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP located in the US is harassed by continuous phone calls from Beijing and northern United States. The center provides round-the-clock service to those who want to quit organizations associated with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

The head of the service center Dr. Gao Dawei stated that, from their past experience, the phone calls were made by spies working for the CCP. The center has always been harassed, but lately the harassment phone calls have become more frequent, and more center volunteers in China have been kidnapped. This trend proves that the CCP is becoming more and more alarmed by its members’ mass resignations.

Dr. Gao said that, “to cover up the Yuan Sheng incident, they have kidnapped human right lawyer Gao Zhisheng and attacked Hong Kong lawyer He Junren. This series of actions shows the world the CCP’s crazed foreplay before destruction, and its panic about the party withdrawal.” Yuan Sheng is a Chinese airline pilot who sought asylum in the US early this month after threatened by the Chinese police for speaking about the CCP resignation.

Dr. Gao indicated that the service center will forward the records of all harassment calls to related organizations of the United Nations and of the United States. They will ask for investigations targeting the communist spies within the US, and hold a press conference to publicly expose their evil to the world.

Harassment Calls

On August 8th a volunteer of the service center received a call from Beijing, in which the caller said that he would murder to take revenge and persecute the volunteer’s family and friends in China.

The caller repeated this three times, “I will murder you all,” and also threatened, “So, you are not afraid for your family? If I knew who they are, I would have killed them.”

On August 18th a volunteer received calls to her cell phone and home phone simultaneously from New York. The caller immediately began to ask for her name, address and other personal information.

Upon the volunteer’s refusal to answer these question, the caller then said that they were conducting a health survey for Harvard University and wanted the volunteer’s information. The volunteer once again refused.

Dr. Gao Dawei acknowledged that he has also received frequent harassment calls. Throughout the call they [callers] continuously played tapes slandering Falun Gong, criticizing the Epoch Times editorial The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and cursing about the idea of resigning from the CCP.

One of the founders of the service center Li Dayong said that his family in China is constantly threatened and harassed by the CCP authorities. They have told Li’s family that a certain representative was murdered, and a certain person was beaten, using this tactic to threaten his family.

Urging Help and Support from the International Community

According to Dr. Gao Dawei, the service center’s volunteers in China are constantly facing persecution. Currently thousands of volunteers have been kidnapped but the numbers are visibly increasing. Recently in just Shanghai alone over 100 volunteers were illegally kidnapped.

Dr. Gao is currently appealing to all honorable officials, media and organizations to support the CCP withdrawal in China. He asks for the condemnation of the violence committed against the thousands of people who quit the CCP and those who helped to make it happen. He calls for the international community to help end the CCP’s crimes in its final strugle prior to its disintegration.

He said that, “This non-violent protest is a mission for the entire human race. The Chinese communists are the root of the world’s corruption. The Chinese people are peacefully getting rid of the Communist Party with the smallest price. This is the best thing for the world and for China. The world should not be silent any longer.”

Global Service Center’s Mission

The current wave of CCP resignation has been spurred by the publication of editorial The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party by The Epoch Times in November 2004. Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP was established on February 22, 2005 to help Chinese people quit the CCP. The service center has nearly 60 regional locations in the world and tens of thousands of volunteers.

The service center’s work includes: receiving incoming calls and faxes, and posting resignation statements on the Quitting CCP website. Some statements are made into recordings to be broadcast online. The center uses methods such as online chats, telephone, fax, email etc. to disseminate information about The Nine Commentaries and CCP resignations.
